Local Priorities Drug dealing/ drug use Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding drug dealing / drug use, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Over the past few weeks there has been an increase in reports of drug related offences and drug related anti social behaviour in and around Hind Grove E14 and the surrounding area. Through engagement with local residents and pro active patrols an address was identified as being linked to drug supply in the local area. Officers from Mile End neighbourhood policing team obtained and executed a search warrant at this venue on Tuesday 24th March. This led to the arrest of two males and the recovery of a quantity of class A and B drugs.

We are committed to tackling drug dealing wherever we find it. We will keep you updated on our efforts to do this in your area, but if you have any concerns or evidence, it is important you report this as soon as possible.
